Juneteenth commemorates the official emancipation of enslaved African American in the United States, specifically on June 19th, 1865 when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas to announce the end of slavery.
This year, the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Celebration will be held on June 13, 2026 at the Womble Park Amphitheater, located at 340 Stinson Ave, Holly Springs, NC 27540. We will have food trucks, non-food vendors, bounce houses, music and fun. See you there!
